Maintenance workers are good, but when something broke in my apartment I was hesitant to ask them to fix it as it usually came with a hefty price tag and wasn't necessarily my fault - just the age of the building. The windows had mold which often made me ill and the apartments were very run-down overall. While these apartments are ideally located for those with low incomes, I wouldn't recommend them due to all of their problems. The laundry room is terrible; most washing machines and dryers don't work properly. The learning center is okay, though there's after-school care available there too apparently. They advertised free WiFi when I moved in but then told me it wasn't available anymore shortly afterwards - an example of their lack of reliability again! The pool can be nice when maintained but tends to be closed down or dirty more often than not; still, during summertime it usually works out fine at least! Playgrounds have caution tape around them because they're so old and worn out that they've become unsafe for kids playing on them - yet their parents do nothing to stop this from happening!
