This is not the only trouble at this complex; there is a great deal of gossip and the personnel are no exception. Everyone is aware of everyone else's affairs and the tenants are so petty that they'll report another resident's animal for barking even when theirs are doing the same. Management is also unreliable; they say one thing and do another and when confronted, they'll fib to conceal the truth. A few years ago, I was looking into getting my father into this complex, but I'm thankful that I found him an even better place. It should be noted that it's forbidden to smoke inside the building or within 20 feet of it, yet people still smoke in their apartments, and management, visitors, and other tenants smoke right near the doors. If you're considering this senior apartment, I strongly suggest that you look somewhere else unless you want to be part of the typical high school drama that is Hamilton Place. more ... hide ...

It got even worse when my fiance, daughter, and I visited them over the holidays; we were made to feel unwelcome long before the fourteen-day guest limit was exceeded. We had to stay at a motel twice during our visit, but the assistant manager, Tom Watson, still harassed my parents about our Chihuahua, who was already listed as a guest. We ended up needing to stay a few extra days as the manager at our new place was taking a holiday, but instead of being understanding, Margaret, the assistant manager, came with a security guard and tried to physically intimidate my handicapped elderly parents to make us leave on New Year's Eve. These people have no compassion or empathy and are harassing and intimidating seniors without provocation. more ... hide ...
