There is an ongoing ant issue and you have to phone the office every time you have a problem and wait up until the following Friday for anything to be done; no proactive management. I pay $1700 per month and the walls were not painted and the cabinets had a sticky film when I moved in. The hard-wired fire alarms sound when cooking almost anything and they have a basic maintenance staff that just does not have time for you. For the snow, they do plow and shovel, but they often tow cars outside the hours posted unless you stop them. There is no monitoring of resident activity with dog feces, parking, noise, etc. The walls are thin enough that I can smell my neighbor's dinner cooking. There are no fans in the bathrooms, so there is a black mold problem, and you will be reprimanded since they anticipate you to leave your window open while showering. The staff, mostly friendly (with a few exceptions), is evidently overwhelmed, and you always feel like you are disturbing them if you call. We resided here for a year. It wasn't the best place but it was good enough for my family of 5 who were renting a town house. When we moved in, the carpet was dirty and it had a bad odor. When we moved in, the carpet was dirty and it had a bad odor. The advertisement on the website said there was air conditioning, but when we moved in, there was none. The gym was terrible. However, I spoke to management and got some things fixed but the gym stayed bad. The best part was Riverside Middle School; my son didn't lose his grades. Despite the poor reviews of the school, he had an incredible year and even progressed. The teachers were great. In general, it was all right. In the winter, it was cold and it seemed like it kept snowing; we had to shovel snow for the first time. Inside the townhouse was warm and the hot water never stopped. The neighbors minded their own business and we didn't have to deal with noise. Kids were playing in the area, but I was always keeping an eye on my kids. We're from the South and moving to the North was difficult, but I liked Rhode Island. I was never bothered because of my religion and I was never bothered.
