After I went to great lengths to fly to NY and put my mom in this facility, after I decorated her room to make her feel comfortable, after contracts were signed and money was exchanged, they told me she wouldn't be al Don't waste your time or energy! After I went to great lengths to fly to NY and put my mom in this facility, after I decorated her room to make her feel comfortable, after contracts were signed and money was exchanged, they told me she wouldn't be allowed to keep her car, which she still drives. Then they lied to her and said they would reconsider her situation in a week or two, just to appease her. They advertise swimming and fishing in their polluted lake, and then they cook the contaminated catch. As my mom is lactose intolerant, they kept serving her cream soups, pizza, etc., and then made her wait for an alternative meal. Additionally, the elevator and public phone were regularly malfunctioning. The area outside the cafeteria had a strong urine smell. There was a cat wandering around the cafeteria at meal times, looking for scraps. After 18 days, I paid a removal company to move my mom out, and I'm down the $3200 non-refundable community fee. I feel I've been deceived. Be careful! Oh, and last year, a resident murdered his roommate in his own room! What a place! more ... hide ...
