I applied a month ago and the woman at the desk said one person was ahead of me and I would discover if my application was accepted in a week. She phoned precisely one week later to inform me I had been approved, but there were no units available, but when one became free she would contact me regarding my deposit. Two weeks later I phoned them to get more details. They could not tell me when a unit would be available, but they promised there was only one person on the list (me). Two weeks later (today) I phoned again, and Tammy answered. Tammy told me there were no units available and that's why nobody called. She then located my application and said there was one unit available but the waiting list had multiple people and she could not determine who had applied first. I told her two weeks ago I was the only one on the list. She then said my employment must be checked before I could move in but she would hold the unit for me. I asked how this process would take place if I had not called, and she replied they would have moved on to the next application. As a newcomer to apartment life, I feel like this is not how prospects should be treated. My time and money have been wasted here.more ...hide ...

Over the two years I have spent here, I have seen cockroaches everywhere--in the bathrooms, the kitchen, the bedrooms, and the closets in particular. I have complained to the front office multiple times, but they have been unable to provide me with another apartment to move into. Moreover, the customer service is abysmal. To make matters worse, my 8-year-old child was shot by three men in a Chevrolet Impala 2018. I captured their license plate number and video, which I reported to the front office, yet two months have passed with no response. Lastly, the brown bags they distribute on certain days contain food that is not up to standard. The woman who hands out these bags is not courteous to people.more ...hide ...

A lot of fun violence, and things with children. My overall experience with Villa Americana is there is always room for improvement! The manager Tia Harrison was excellent. She was new, but I was satisfyed. They are renovatingas of now and its very busy and chaotic. No organization. And now know Manager on site. Wow. So this happens A lot. I hope they get the help & professionalism of a suitor / Manager for the new year Jan 1, 2020!more ...hide ...

I know that a lot of people like to bash complexes when they dont get their way but when you get a manager that cares about how her property looks then you know that they do not play.
