There's always a strong smell of smoke/weed in the hallways and near the balcony. We asked for help with our AC but it never got fixed this summer, leaving our apartment at about 83 degrees (as read on my thermostat). Be sure to read your lease very carefully before signing it. This place will try to squeeze extra money out of you in any way possible. Utility charges are unclear and don't actually improve your living situation (I've never seen charges like Sewer, Real Estate, CAM, and Service Fees at another apartment, and it's not fair to pass those costs on to the tenants). We couldn't make it to our move out walkthrough and were charged for cleaning, painting, drip pan, and trash removal that weren't in the lease addendum. These charges are typical wear-and-tear. But management assumes no one will take the effort or money to dispute the fees legally. If I could give any advice, it would be to find a different complex, even if it's more expensive. That way you'll save yourself from arbitrary utility fees and the hassle of extra charges at every turn. more ... hide ...

This location has never had central air conditioning, using an outdated boiler system that does not work. Do not deceive people by claiming to have air conditioning when there are no AC units. They initially set up my electricity account for the wrong unit and charged me incorrectly for more than half a year before providing an accurate bill. The electricity company refused to help me due to the fact that I had been paying for my neighbor's electricity with no credit. I am not even able to get heat in the winter. Forget about water temperature or pressure; I would settle just to have water at all. My water is often shut off and the laundry services in my building have not been operating for months. My car has been stolen twice and the one pool that is sporadically functional was not open all summer, while the second pool has never opened in the entire time I have been living here—despite the deceiving photos online. Constant management changes cause poor caretaking. I have been stuck here for many years, but losing my job during the pandemic has made it difficult to leave. I have yet to meet the new manager, but I am sure they have heard of me over the years. I hope to eventually get away from here and forget my experience. The utilities are ALWAYS going out and the promised amenities are almost always unusable and under maintenance The AC for every unit went out during the hottest part of this last summer They are very bad at updating residents about things and followi The utilities are ALWAYS going out and the promised amenities are almost always unusable and under maintenance The AC for every unit went out during the hottest part of this last summer They are very bad at updating residents about things and following up with them when things are fixed The gym is broken and filthy They never restock the cleaning wipes or anything so all the equipment is gross The bathroom has no soap or towels in it ever The laundry rooms stink and there are pools of water sitting in the washers making them musty and unusable It is insanely overpriced with ambiguous utility charges For the amount of things they list on the utility bill it should be a lot nicer around all the buildings not just nice by the office They only take care of the area that prospective residents will see I am severely disappointed at the lack of care by staff They are extremely friendly and nice to your face but I have seen lack of follow through from them on the fixes they promise more ... hide ...
