There is never anyone in the office, and the maintenance number has an unfriendly woman answering calls. I recently phoned and she told me I would be billed for the sink that was clogged, as I had put something in it. I replied that I did not want to hear about payments as the sink had been plugged up since Friday. She hung up and when I called back two hours later after work, she booked an appointment for Wednesday, but no one came. The after-hours number is not responding, and the office phone is linked to a fax machine and you can never speak with anyone unless you surprise them in the office with the blinds closed. My car insurance even went up by 30$ due to this supposedly "high crime" area. I cannot recommend this apartment complex in its current state, not even a single star. more ... hide ...

For instance, your refrigerator will sound like a motor when it starts up and you'll hear that all day; your stove won't be clean but they expect you to clean it; tiles on the floor have holes in them and carpets are stained; cabinets inside are nasty and countertop isn't properly attached to the wall; countertop is stained and has holes too. Also, they make you keep your microwave clean even though no microwaves come with these apartments; if blinds or windows break, they charge an excessive fee instead of buying them cheaply from stores outside. To top it off, during inspections, the manager only checks 3 apartments at the back while ignoring those in front. Every manager here is black and ghetto-like who think they know everything while nothing in any apartment looks brand spanky new - just try to make it seem like that when moving in.
