Cockroaches all the time.... just overall bad experience.I spend 1 year there and it wasnt so bad that i thought about leaving a review until i applied for a different apartment. They wouldnt send our proof of residence to the new place and infact said we never lived there. It took them 2 weeks to actually send it finally...On top of that the first month we lived there our electricity bill was 500 dollars!!!! Due to an issue with the ac drawing 10 times what it normally should. We never got that money back, even though we were promised it.The manager was the only good thing bout the place but now she is gone and the new manager is awful. And i mean awful.Absolutely do not even think about living here. more ... hide ...

Ive never in my life had to live in such horrible conditions. The bugs & the black mold are the responsibility of the owners, to make sure a place is livable when they move into a rental. It seems like for every 10 cockr oaches you kill 20 or more replace it. Before I even moved in I set off bug bombs. Two weeks later I repeated the bug bombs. I put Roach Hotels down, Ive used gel bait, Ive used boric acid. Nothing works. Ive been sick since I moved in. He wouldnt do anything about it. My 3 year old granddaughter is living with me. I consider it child abuse. Im going to report him to every place I can find. I called the Health department. more ... hide ...

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! This complex is the worst. The management turnover is every other year. No one knows what they are doing. The latest manager was Daniel, he is worthless and obviously they know it because now h e is gone. They do not care about the residents. They just want the money and WILL NOT fix anything. They are infested with roaches. I even used my own money for pest control and it still did not work. Roaches running around the kitchen counters and up the walls in the living room. The pest control is a joke, they come into your apartment for 2 minutes. This place IS SLUMS AND RUN BY SLUM LORDS. I often told people to not move in here when they were touring, or they regretted later after signing the lease and then they were stuck for a year. DONT DO IT, SPEND THE MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Now they have a new manager named ART. He was the assistant when Daniel was there. Neither one of them were worth it. Dont listen to him, everything Art says is a lie. None of the Equinox apartment complexes are worth the money. ALL SLUMS. more ... hide ...

I have been living here going on two years .Although my apartment is the only one in this section that has not been up graded but yet my rent went up . What keeps me here is that I am very old fashioned computers are NOT my thing . And anytime I have a problem or get frustrated ANNA in the office is my hero !!! She acts happy to help me out , I feel really dumb but she makes me feel not so dumb .... Ive seen her take care of 2 people at once and they walked out very happy ,I hope you keep her happy so she stays here shes a great person to talk to and she gets you answers like NOW . And with a smile . I would hate to see her leave at anytime so please acknowledge her and let her know what she means to you so we as a community can continue to love Anna !,,,, Also YOU MADE A GREAT MOVE GETTING THAT OLD MANAGER OUT OF HERE AND PUTTING ROQUEL , HUGE DIFFERENCE.., SHES THE BOMB TOO . I have been in contact with the manager for a while before moving in and she is an angel I absolutely love her!!! The only thing is the parking situation is a bit hostile unless you live in the far back area of the apart ments. Moving in the first day I had three cars- me and two family members- help move because I have large furniture but when we were trying to move them into the apartment on the first night, there was already rude residents calling the tow company to take our cars that have been there for 10 minutes. Even after we told them we are just moving and the cars will be gone in less than 30 minutes (the rude resident was LEAVING her spot for the day and saw one of us pull in and STAYED to call the towing company on us) I know it is out of frustration because many people probably park there illegally. The other resident that was there when this was going on said they have been on the waiting list for a decent parking spot for SIX months. If you move in, take into account if you or your roommates own separate cars. But the apartment is gorgeous!!! not a single complaint. The only thing is the safety aspect, walking far from my parking spot to my apartment, there isnt very bright lighting in the complex itself, all of the dog owners taking their dog to the restroom had their phone flashlights on, definitely follow some personal safety measures like pepper spray. more ... hide ...
