The worst experience Ive ever had dealing with an apartment complex. Buckle in; its a wild ride.Stopped in to inquire about renting a unit, was told they had multiple available, so I started the paperwork to appl y. They wanted a bunch of information which is totally understandable but I felt rushed the entire time.They asked for pay stubs, which I had in pdf form. They said they needed those, as well as, a proof of employment form that needed to be filled out by my employer. Again thats fine, but seeing as it was a Friday afternoon, I wouldnt have it until Monday. They acted as if this was such an inconvenience even saying well I need to fill these units so try and get it to me asap.I ended up calling my boss, explaining the situation, faxing them the form, they so kindly printed it out, filled it out, and emailed it back. I then emailed the property manager everything they asked for. In total, this was a few hours after starting the initial process.I waited until Tuesday, never heard anything so I tried calling the office. I called numerous times over that week and nothing. I emailed, nothing. I physically went down there 4 separate times and the office was closed every time; even though their hours were posted on the door and I was there during business hours. -And let me add I relocated for work, and that commute was about 2 hours one way.Finally after about 2-3 weeks of hearing nothing, I finally got through to someone, who told me they were not sure but that they would look into it and get back to me by the end of that day. Never got a call. I tried going back in a few more times and, you guessed it, the office was always closed.I started this whole waste my time experience on January 8th and I just got a call today, February 4 with someone say I just so happened to come across your application, are you still interested? Like are you for effing real.I used to work in property management, and as a complex that is under a major property management company, Susanville Garden Apartments needs to be held responsible for the way they are treating prospective tenants. I can only imagine what horror their current tenants go through. Will never recommend. more ...
