The Great, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.I lived at Monaco lakes for almost 3 years. First in a one bedroom and then in a two bedroom.The Great:They do a stellar job of keeping the grounds cleaned and maintained. The g rounds are gorgeous and its really nice to walk your dog around. They are very pet friendly. They are extremely close to the High Line Canal trail and its a easy bike ride to the Cherry Creek trail. Anthony in the office is amazing. You ever have a question Anthony will answer it with ease.The Good:Its a good price for the amount of space you get. Maintenance responds on a timely manner. The walls are thick and youre unlikely to hear your neighbors. I never see bugs or any pests for that matter.The Bad:Its a tiny AC window unit to try to cool your place in the summer. Do not expect anything beyond the living room to be a tolerable temperature. In the winter the heat is either way too strong or not enough. It is baseboard heat. The heat really lacks adjustability. Personally I think youre better off using a space heater, electric blankets, or cooking a lot in your oven during the winter months. The units are insulated well so as long as you can get it to a tolerable temperature it will stay a tolerable temperature.The Ugly:People break into and steal cars here. There are no cameras and very little surveillance in the parking lots. Ive had two cars be broken into. Almost every neighbor Ive ever talked to knows someone in the apartment complex who has had their car broken into or stolen. Also people have no respect for the elevators and laundry rooms. The apartment janitors will come in clean them and someone will come in within an hour and make a mess. Dont be surprised to see piss or vomit in either of them. The apartment does clean it up fast but there is no way to keep up with the lack of respect people have for them. more ... hide ...

I am a prospect resident that came to tour the apartments and I was nothing but impressed by the Bluffs at Castle Rock. The staff was so professional in helping me touring and looking for the perfect apartment.Renee is an amazing manager; she was fantastic and went above and beyond in making sure that I only toured apartments with keeping my best interest and affordability with rent in her mind.In the present renting climate in Colorado, Apartments are super expensive and I was not only welcomed well by her but she also made sure to have an honest chat regarding the utility costs snd other charges ld incur when renting the apartments there. Im glad to have met with a thorough professional like Renee.I love all the amenities here, patio, gym, pool etc. Beautiful space with new finishes and plenty of room.
