My father has lived here for years. Every year there is an ant problem. This year the pest control man has come out 3 times and sprayed in and out and left ant traps. 1 or two days after each visit, they show up again. M y father keeps his apartment clean. I called property management and they said there is a big colony that they are unable to get rid of. All we can do is keep calling the pest control. They said. Neighbors also have this problem. Going on for years. more ... hide ...

Was approved for an apartment this past summer. I was moving from out-of-state, so mgmt required that I mail a holding depositno problem. But they couldnt process application electronically, which in the year 2020 seemed odd, but whatever. (You can docusign anything...but more on that later). I was really motivated to move to sent my application and money order by next day air. I was then told after they received my application and money order that another applicant beat me to the apartment and turned in their application before mine was received. I was then asked if I wanted to remain on the waiting list for the next apartment in line or get my deposit back. I opted to wait. Months go by. Summer turns to Fall. Roger periodically checks to see if I want to remain on the waitlist. Finally by October, I found another place (beautiful, brand new, cheaper, safer area, better property mgmt, all around blessing)I then reach out and request a refund of my money. Never heard anything back. Not by phone or email. I know it takes time for mail to be forwarded to a new address so I didnt trip. Now its December, so I send another email. I actually send two. This time some LJ character writes back and proceeds to LIE about a phone conversation we had in regards to this refundIT NEVER HAPPENED. I dont know this LJ fool from Adam. Plus he presents some pic of an envelope that he supposedly had the presence of mine to take before mailing out the deposit, but didnt send it certified mail or signature request. (Yeah...ok)Like if yall lost or kept the $100 for your little office party or whatever, thats one thing, but Ill be damned if someones gonna tell me about a conversation we supposedly had that never happened. And as far as them not being able to process my application electronically...its funny how every other complex has those capabilities, including the apartment Im renting now. Everything was done via email and all transactions went smoothly. So if a measly $100 (plus the price I paid to next day air my application) is the price I had to pay to avoid these people and this place, I consider myself grateful. But I WILL put them on blast every chance o get. Renters bewareespecially if its a long distance move. Theyre apparently some scammers. more ... hide ...

Lousy, VOA cares not about the disabled or elderly. They evict 72 year old women with Alzheimers and a speech problems like aphasia. Horrible
