Overall I enjoy this place a lot! I moved in on March 4th so Ive been here for only 2 months and some change. That isnt too long but I stay at home and work from Home so ive had a lot of time here.pros: its very clean, y ou can always find the cleaning and maintaince crew doing something. They make sure to keep on top of in apt services like changing the filters on the AC and spraying for roaches (because they do exist here but a little more on that in cons). Its never hard to get in contact with the office during their hours if you need anything and everyone who works there is very friendly, especially Angelica! they have been the same kind and courteous people theyve always been both before and after the move. The application process is very smooth and very quick. I applied on either a Thursday or Friday and was approved the following Tuesday or Wednesday. It wouldve been faster if I had a DE ID. the people who live here have a nice mix of older and younger residents. Ive seen more people over 50 in this complex than any other Ive lived in. Which is nice because it keeps the racket and noise down. There are also a lot of young people which can be evident on the weekends when theres a party at someones place. That being said its never too loud and personally I enjoy a little ruckus coming from a city its something im used to and enjoy. Other pros include a decent priced pet fee if you have any, and key fobs to access the building. Theres also a mail room so your packages shouldnt be left in an insecure area (sometimes they are but its usually Amazon since not every Amazon driver has access to the buildings, but the Mailboxes are inside right before the locked doors so they can and should leave your packages by your mailbox). okay so now cons:there are roaches. They are here and alive. That being said they are not bad. I live on the fourth floor so that already helps since im not so close to the ground where bugs are present. I have seen maybe 3 or 4 roaches in my place since ive been here. As soon as I saw them I called to have the exterminator come in and ever since then I havent seen any so hopefully it stays that way. The location of the complex is nice because its just outside the hood so theres not much danger here. Ive heard more people getting mugged and shot in the Brandywine area more than here. Its tucked away so its kind of shielded from the surrounding areas. theres a food lion nearby and some other stores. The apts themselves are also nice. I have a 2b/2b for only $1225 which includes utilities and electric. Not bad. The master bedroom is very spacious with 2 full size closets, the bathroom is a nice size (although you may need to find a way to get a stand or something in there for more storage of products if you have a lot like I do) and easy to clean. The rooms have gray carpet and the living areas have this laminate thats made to look like hardwood gray floors. The BALCONIES are huge! you can fit some outdoor furniture up there and because its covered by this mesh its safe to leave the sliding door open (just watch for bugs) and can be very nice to add natural light and air into the apt and can make your space even bigger say if youre having people over (which maybe you shouldnt cut ya know covid). Theres a nice amount of space on either side of the kitchen that you can use for a dining area and something else. I plan on expanding the kitchen area nd getting an island on wheels so theres more space to prep and cook. the living room is a great size.as I said in the beginning overall I really enjoy this place. Great price, great amenities, and nice location. all the residents are nice and welcoming. You could do a lot worse. I dont have great credit but I was able to get approved so this might be a good spot to check out if you also dont have the best credit. I havent had any evictions and I made more than enough to cover the minimum they want you to make each month. As long as youre good on that then it should be a breeze to get in. more ... hide ...

I stayed here for a year and was the worst decision Ive ever made. When I first searched for apartments their ratings were far better than they are now which is very disappointing to see. They were (and probably still are) short staffed in the office and with maintenance which added onto their downfall. The biggest problem I encountered during my stay was the lack of communication and service from the office when it came to problems with my apartment (which were a lot!). It was impossible to reach anyone. If you got a hold of someone over the phone you were either dismissed or forgotten because of the volume of complaints and maintenance requests from other tenants. Email responses were also difficult as they wouldnt respond until a couple days later or after you send a follow up email. If youre ok with it, in order to get the staff to work with you, youd have to show up at their door and speak with the manager and stay on them about your requests.Outside of the office staff, the buildings were unkept: Windows were out of frame and the caulking around the windows were so old and gross that water leaked through during days of rain. The gutter along the building of where I stayed was hanging off the wall which made matters worse for rain and summer storms. Some steps had railings and others did not. The biggest hit for them were the AC systems. Most, if not all, tenants had to get their AC replaced because it wasnt working or was damaged. The area was also prone to vandalism. My car was vandalized twice on their property which was it for me. Had to get out of there. Right now they are playing catch up with their upkeep in apartments. Id pass on them and search for someplace better at the moment. more ... hide ...

Just recently moved out of this development. I found Mold all throughout my apartment - I reported it and maintenance took their sweet time coming to bleach down the molded spots. Management advised me that the mold was caused by a pipe bursting in the basement of the building but when I asked them to reimburse me for my damaged property - $1500 worth of my personal belongings they flipped it and said that the mold was due to my own fault due to incorrect use of AC when I asked how they came to that conclusion - they couldnt. Dont waste your time residing at this establishment. Come to find out Management knew there was mold in the ENTIRE building bc my neighbor also had BLACK MOLD in her apartment & management failed to let the other residents know and I had a newborn baby residing in my apartment with me.Spend your money elsewhere in a safe & mold free apartment! more ... hide ...
