This is a low-income housing, and I guess your experience living here honestly just depends on a variety of things. The current property manager has been wonderful, everything has been done in a timely fashion, and most everyone in my building is relatively quiet, so no complaints there. I dont feel like its a permanent place to live, but it honestly isnt bad for what it is, especially when its just a place to stay until I can afford to buy a house. I am thankful it isnt government housing, for sure. Its much better than that, with only occasional dramatics from others. more ... hide ...

This is a hidden oasis- the road leading into the manor is industrial - but very shortly you start seeing the lanterns with candles burning, the lovely plantars and signs. This exceptionally beautiful manor is nestled back in a dream like landscape, complete with manicured lawns, rolling hillside down to the river front, and a wonderful manor house with plenty of good parking! We attended a wedding but any special event could be held here in the versatile accommodations. It was well cared for, had all the rooms needed to host a large wedding party, attentive staff. Moving from Joliet to Elliott Manor in Morris 3 years ago has been a blessing. The building is very well maintained and the maintenance staff is more than knowledgeable and problems are addressed in quick order. The j ob of Office Manager is a daunting one. Our office managers door is always open and she listens and helps with whatever we need. Listening to over 100 peoples problems and demands is not easy. She does it with grace and professionalism. The problems come in when people believe they are the only ones living here. How our office staff deals with the day to day living for us all is beyond comprehension. They are always willing to do the best for us. Kudos to our wonderful staff. Come live at Elliott Manor there is none better ! more ... hide ...

PACKAGE DELIVERY!!!! IF youre having trouble getting your packages here?? Let me tell you why.Its the management/Landlord. Amazon/FedEx/UPS are NOT ALLOWED to drop off packages in the package room!!! ONLY USPS (P ost Office) can drop and leave. The package delivery person has to ask security to contact each and every person who has a package and most of the time theres 20+ packages for this building. If the package recipient dont answer? The package goes back. MANAGER RULES. This is the absolute WORST building EVER had to deliver to. When a driver has 4848 N Winthrop on their route we want to quit.
