My aunt (formerly an unhappy Barton resident) experienced bed bugs at Barton Zion. Staff were told many times and brushed it off, including the Administrator. Im also appalled that Barton lies about their COVID outbrea k. Patients are locked up in their rooms, and cant even go out of their rooms to eat due to the COVID outbreak. Its like a prison. Many of my aunts friends have ended up in the hospital with severe COVID and many couldnt even return to the facility. Take note, BARTON ZION IS COVID infested as well as bed bug infested and I would be hard pressed to recommend this place to my worst enemy. more ... hide ...

Keep your receipts and lease because they will try to rob you. They wanted me to pay more than what my lease stated and I refused to do so. I am working on getting the crap off my credit because if this complex. I am so glad I kept my bank statements and chescks they cashed. The lady in the office failed to do her job by apparently putting the wrong dollar amount on the lease, they signed it and then a month later they tried to get more money out of me. Sorry but I am paying what my lease says not a dime more. The apartment was not worth it my tub kept backing up, maintenance were sloppy with their work, the machine half washed your clothes and left my clothes soaked and the dryers did not dry. I would not recommend this place to anyone for the money they charge. People kept ringing my bell, smoking weed and drinking in the hallways. I am so glad I am no longer there youd be better off renting a town home at Pangea in Park Forest IL. The appliances were old and my dishwasher did not work. Before I signed my lease I told them the month I needed to move by and that I wanted a top floor. They told me ok no problem it will be ready when you sign your lesse. I came about 2 weeks later to sign my lease they had my move in month wrong and I had to take the first floor apartment because that was all they had available. I was miserable because kids ran across my patio throwing paper the lady above me acted like she had to walk every 5 seconds and she would be loud. I complained and nothing happened. Look else where they will try to rip you off please as I stated earlier keep your receipts, bank statements and lease close by because they will try to rip you off....If I can give this place 0 stars I would more ... hide ...
