While the \"Summit Pointe\" apartments are newer and remodeled the walls are ridiculously thin. We moved in recently and can hear our neighbors talking/yelling through the ceiling and walls. You can also hear them walk ing through the apartment as if they were walking on boards. Plus there is a astonishingly large amount of \"white trash\" known in the area for living in these apartments. Definitely not a safe place for children. Just in the last few months we have witnessed two arrests in our building alone, thefts, dirty conditions (cigarettes on the floors and in the yards, trash on balconies & in yards, many others). For the money honestly we are paying way to much considering for about $100 more we could rent a house in this area. And beware of the \"model\" apartment that you see when you inquire about apartments. Its nothing like what you get. Now we know why the landlord was so hesitant about letting us see our apartment before it was \"finished\". We have noticed also that about half of the people in our building have moved out in less than 3 months if that tells you something. So to conclude if you like living around gross people, paying way to much in rent, living in dirty conditions, and love listening to the white trash arguments as you try to eat or sleep you have found your place!!! more ... hide ...

Its difficult to go from a 4 bedroom home to a 1 bedroom apartment.The apartments here are handicap set up, which is really cool. Large bathroom with walk-in shower and safety rails by the shower, sink, and toilet.The be droom is pretty large with a walk-in closet.The living room/kitchen/dining area is about 1 and a half times the size of the bedroom.The staff are helpful and friendly.Stores and entertainment are within less than a ten-minute drive, or, there are buses you can catch to get around town.All the apartments are HUD qualified.Overall, a pretty good place to live. more ... hide ...

Currently living there and being kicked out, they are giving me a non renewal when I signed my lease two years ago OCT. I recommend not moving here if you have children, they complain about everything your kids do. I wo uld not recommend moving here at all if you want a peaceful place to live without them picking over your apartment with a fine tooth comb, There are people who do drugs and make the place smell bad when they do them. There is the smell of cigarette smoke that comes thru the walls so if you dont like smoking you shouldnt live here. There are also people who bring others into the complex to what appears to be drug deals. Things I dont like my children to be around. When brought to management attention she seemed to have blown it off. Also if you ever need anything fixed only expect them to come fix it when it works in there schedule if it doesnt it wont ever get fixed. And when they decide they want you to move because the property manager is friends with someone and plays favorites they get nasty and call you crazy. Which is what happen to me this morning she asked me what was wrong with me because I called her out on lies. HORRIBLE people to have as landlords. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. more ... hide ...
