Ive lived here for going on 4 years now. It was great until things started breaking and then thats when the long waits and stressful times come in. Our first year of living here our garbage disposal was the first thing to break and they didnt bother to fix it until our 3rd year and that was only because HUD was coming to inspect some apartments. By that time our tiles in our shower had begun to warp and space apart. Their solution was a quick fix of caulk to hold it together until after inspections ( which they never came back to fix). We had our tiles break before and when the man who came to fix them was putting new tiles on you could see there was absolutely no back support for the tiles to set against but yet a big open space. They just stuck the tiles together with glue or caulk and called it a day. Now Im no specialist but I would say that wasnt done properly. The next and most stressful of situations was when our ceiling above our shower started to leak. I reported it around this time last year ( its November 2017) and all they did was have someone come in and they peeled off the paint and said, yup thats been happening for a while ( there was signs of mold and water damage). Their reasonings for not coming in to fix our ceiling after having plugged the leak was to let the ceiling dry. Its been almost a year now and even though the ceiling had stopped leaking, our ceiling was left open and exposed. Its just recently started up again and this time its worse than before. The water was pouring out of the ceiling like a faucet, it was pouring out of the above shower light fixture, and the dry wall has begun to sag as if holding on for dear life. I made a call today to ask if someone could come in to take a look, the lady told me she would send someone over to have a look, and after waiting for so long to almost closing time I decided I would call to double check. I was told, Yea theyre not gonna be able to come in today, they had a couple of emergencies. It would have been nice to have had a phone call telling me that instead of waiting in my apartment twiddling my thumbs. They are not very professional and by my long rant Im sure you can figure out they are bad at getting things fixed. I can deal with small breaks ( such as the garbage disposal) but something as dangerous as the ceiling should have been taken care of last year. I just hope and pray to god they get their priorities together and make sense of the situation and do their job before it gets worse or someone has a ceiling fall on their head while taking a shower or bath. For those of you who have made it this far thanks for reading my rant and I hope if you do get a place here you do not have to experience things such as I and my fianc© have. Best of luck. more ... hide ...

Maintenance man told me how the apartment management knew a guy who worked out of town and was leaving his dogs while he was away. Months later they have to gut the place because of the rotten dogs and the damage they ca used trying to get out. If you care about animals it would be bad to live here more ... hide ...

These apartments are ok. I am frustrated more with not being able to call the office & get in touch with anyone. Anytime I have questions, they go unanswered or they take more than a week or two to get back to me. I just wish people cared about the ones who live in their apartments rather than just getting a paycheck. Please be better property owners/managers! more ... hide ...

Everything is perfect. I tried to get in to a couple of other places with no luck. I found this place and just loved the location. Looks like your in the country, and yet just a couple minutes from town. Amy helped me so much and got me in here very quickly. She was very sympathetic with my situation and I feel she went above and beyond what she had to. Tim, the maintenance man has been to my apartment twice, within minutes, to fix a couple of minor things to make things better for me. Tim and Amy are very courteous and helpful. I am very happy to say that I am very satisfied to be here at Fosters Landing in New Castle, Indiana more ... hide ...
