I have been living in this apartment for not even a year and it has been terrible. When I first moved in after two months they tried to accuse me of owing over $800 in unpaid rent. I always pay my rent on time and even b efore the time has arrived. I had to go to legal services in order to solve this situation and it turned out that they owed me OVER $300 in funds. When I called the management they did not want to talk to me and just wanted me to pay even when I contacted legal services they did to want to speak to my attorney. The people who work in management are disrespectful especially the receptionist ALEXIS.There was even a time where someone came to my house claiming I have not paid rent for two months with the rudest tone and on the envelope it wasnt even my name or apartment number. He repeatedly told me that it was mine and I told him that it wasnt my name nor my apartment number. There was people there with me that even said he did not have to talk to me like that. He continued to give me the letter and left my apartment. In addition to rent, in order to park in the lot a fee needs to be paid every month. Even though I pay for the parking each month they still towed my vehicle and claimed that I did not pay. They are so quick to threaten you with eviction but the are really trying to scam people for extra money. At times maintenance even enters the home without notification and I find my clothes all over the place as if I have been robbed. As I stated before the people who work in management are very disrespectful. Every time I go there ALEXIS thinks she can talk to people any type of way and she acts like these apartments are owned by her and that she is doing us a favor by renting us these apartments.THAT IS JUST OUTSIDE THE HOMEThe apartments are terrible, when I came in the carpets were stained and they would not clean it for me, the stove was filthy and the toilet was not even well mounded into the ground. The shower was broken and they did not want to do anything to fix it after countless of reminders they finally fixed it. Every time there is a problem I call the management so they can send maintenance to repair it. They say that they put in a order but maintenance never comes. I had to repeatedly go to the office and they still never sent maintenance.I had problems with my refrigerator and I reported it to maintenance and they never did anything about it until I yelled at the receptionist and threatened to not pay rent. I lost so much food that it is unbelievable. Then they decided to fix my fridge after going a bunch of times.THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS is that the apartments are infected with mice and HUGE cockroaches and maintenance does not do anything about it nor does the management office. At night you can even hear the mice and roaches running around in the walls and in the apartment. You can even see the mice run around the house. When I call ALEXIS she would only let her points out but when its time for me to talk on the phone she hangs up. I always have to go to the management if i need help with something because they never answer the phone. The only thing good about this place is that it is in a good area and near Danehy park and has public transportation. I would never tell anyone to live in this place I would tell them when they see these buildings to RUN... RUN FAST.. AND NEVER LOOK BACK. more ... hide ...

Amy Lowell apartments are one of the best apartment complex we have ever lived in. Besides having the best location and being right by the North Station, TD Garden and my dog loving walks right by the Charles River, the most amazing thing is the Management and community here. We have amazing neighbors, clean nice apartment and very friendly staff that we are grateful for.I am writing this review during the pandemic (Covid-19) and how Amy Lowell Management and our dear Patricia taking care of us, is just amazing. She randomly brings face mask for us (when I couldnt find anywhere in the stores) and I just today found a new bag of soap and Sudoku book hanged by my door, just makes us feel so touched and melts my heart how they really care. They even bring our packages to our door daily so we dont have to leave the apartment..I just wanted to write this review hoping they would see and know how much we appreciate them! For the future residents, this would be the best place you can find in West End for probably the best price. As a small note, if you need a parking, check the next door Apt complex where private people rent their parking spaces (thats how we do). more ... hide ...
