This review is long sorry about that! My house is on Crestview and its awesome. I have a relatively private backyard area and theres a large area for my kids to play in the front (away from vehicles which is really nice) . But the management team is by far the rudest group of people you will ever meet. They are seldom at the leasing office at the scheduled hours (if they show up during the day at all) they charge you for standard repairs (such as bathroom mold), the maintenance workers that do eventually show up leave your house a mess (whatever their shoes drag in stays in, whatever mess they make while making repairs also stays), and generally speaking just a lack of common courtesy. I definitely recommend the units if you get a nice clean one, but if you need help from the management company its going to get tricky.In November the property manager (John) tried to kick me and my son out, yes before Christmas, because I usually pay my rent within 6 days (due to financial stresses) instead of exactly on the first day of the month, however, I have never not paid rent in the 6 years Ive lived here. In the 6 years Ive been living here that had NEVER been an issue before. So if he just doesnt like you for any reason, be ready for retaliation. He uses his power as manager to make you miserable. He sued me (refused to deposit the check for over 2 weeks, and we all know how fun it is when someone is holding a check on you) and once in court refused to allow me the 6 days to pay rent as before even though it is standard to allow that 6 day period.In general if you get a nice unit in a good location its a good place to live, just dont expect much from the Simon Companies.
