My mom has lived here for a year and its truly been a wonderful experience. The staff are so sarong and extremely patient. When they noticed my mom hadnt checked her mail in a couple days they gave her a call She was un der the weather but hadnt been able to get in touch with me The office called me to give me a heads up on the situation.The building is a bit dated, but the apartments are comfortable. Theres new owners and slowly things are getting updated.My mom has met some wonderful friends and the activities are fun.The exercise equipment is kept in good condition and the indoor pool has just been redone.The common areas are beautifully decorated as well. The main lobby has a piano, a puzzle area, a kitchenette area where some ladies gather a few times a week for cards and games.During the holidays many of the tenants gather to decorate the entire building!This is apartment living; if youve ever lived in an apartment youll understand not 100% of the tenants are going to be your cup of tea. However, so far from what I have seen, a good 95% are fun to be around. I check on my mom 3 times a week and the residents are all nice to visit with. more ... hide ...

My family has put in a service request 5/20/2022 before 2:00pm for my 83 year old great -grandmother to have her A/C Unit to either be fixed or replace. Today, of all days where it is 90 degrees outside and my great gran dmother has been living at St Paul for 20 years!!! They gave her a window of 2pm-4pm and no one showed up! I am sure that there are maintenance requests that were on the list prior to hers, but any request regarding A/C for ANYONE not just my great-grandmother, should take precedence on a day like today. This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable!UPDATE 5/20/2022 @9:32pm: We never received a status update of their ETA but after several phone calls to management and front desk, they DID arrive after 5pm to install her A/C unit. The Google system wouldnt let me delete this comment but I wouldnt mind changing the stars from \"1\" to a \"2\" or maybe a \"3 \" A 3 may be pushing it because this is not the first encounter where we had to call back to back to get services rendered for my great-grandmother. These services include, getting her stove upgraded, her microwave fixed, carpet replaced, etc. Again, she has been here for 20+ years. more ... hide ...
