I€™m a 2017 Spring graduate of the Jeremiah Program-Minneapolis campus! Jeremiah Program helped make my dream come true of being an RN! I worked hard to accomplish this but the JP program/ staff and my fellow JP mom€ ™s supported me with all resources and loved me and my son through the hard times and celebrated our successes! I€™ve been an RN for almost 5 years and hands down, the best decision I made for me and my son! I€™ve smashed above that poverty line now and taught my son that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to! Thank you God for JP! more ... hide ...

This place seems nice at first however after living here a while you come to find out that this place is terrible and over priced.Having two of us living here we have two cars. Most of the time we ended up parking on the street so the \"off street parking\" advertisment is fake.A good amount of the tenants are rude and are not considerate. People come and go at all hours of the night and slam their doors before going inside. If you are lucky you get a crazy drunk for a neighbor who cant mind her own buisness. Cut rent in half and it might be worth it. more ... hide ...

Gage East offers a stable living environment for families and single youth transitioning from chronic homelessness. The apartments are spacious and come furnished with basic everyday items a family would need moving onto a new apartment. There are onsite social workers to help you as much as you need it not at all. And there is a Tots program that offers free child care for up to four hours a day. This is a secured building where guests must sign in and provide identification. This helps keep the building safe and quite for residents. Just like any other apartment building in America, it has its issues. People coming off the streets and out of homelessness are bound to have some baggage but if you mind your business it will remain theirs. I have never seen children beaten or prostitution happening or much of anything referred to in previous reviews, most likely the previous review is an evicted tenant seeking revenge.Gage East provides hope and stability to people seeking to change their lives. more ... hide ...

Stayed here 1 year during 2017. Overall a decent and quiet place to live. Within a 6 block walking distance of a library, grocery store that makes its own brats, brewery, restaurants, live theater and a McDonalds.Likes:* Working cold AC* Maintained grounds and common areas* Helpful staff - caretaker helped look for my lost phone* Generally a quiet place to live* Age of building and historical significant to the neighborhood, caretaker actually mentioned experiencing ghosts once..* Cost compared to newer apartment buildings* Security cameras, security cameras, security cameras... if you look at Minneapolis crime maps there arent too many that occur here.Dislikes:* No underground parking - outdoor garages that youre put on a waiting list for* Minimal \"gym\" that has a few useful pieces of equipment jammed in with a bunch of other equipment* Occasional clouds of pot smoke in the hallways and stairwell.Thats my experience in 12 months, I know others might find it different. more ... hide ...
