Mold nearly killed myself and two children. Do not waste your time or money on this place. I lost everything I owned including my health. Code enforcement doesnt help either even when you call them crying for help be cause they side with the landlord. They come in and tell you theres no mold and will tell you its just dirt based on a visual observation, nothing was sent to a lab or anything. Our lives were forever changed the moment I signed my lease. I didnt know I signed up for a death sentence. If only management and maintenance would have listened to me when I was begging them for help none of this would have happened. These buildings are very old.. no matter how much paint you put on those walls or how many new tiles you replace or carpets.. those buildings are terrible. Roaches, mice, little to no heat, and when you complain they make you out to be a tenant that just isnt happy and expects perfection. They arent very aware of the damage those apartments are causing in terms of peoples health. But Im here to tell you actually BEG you do not move here.. worst decision I have ever made. Chelsea Village destroyed my life. Mold is underneath the paint, roof, in the walls! All because you cant see it, it doesnt mean it isnt there. more ... hide ...

The Staff are awesome at the Pompton Lakes Senior Housing. The work hard keeping the building clean and safe for the tenants. The staff are there for all the tenants with any needs they need. The Pompton Senior Housing Board Members and The Property Manager Ray have the best interest for all the Seniors living in the building. The Board members also gives the Seniors holiday parties that are so beautifully done. I dont know how anyone can complain about living here. The apartments are beautiful, safe environment. more ... hide ...
