HUD Funded BEAUTIFUL and use to be livable apartments. However, New Owners came with a cynical agenda or plan to pushout longtime residents consisting of Senior Citizens and 55+ Disabled Elders!!! UNACCEPTABLY, THEY wer e or are STILL freezing the 55+ Disabled Elders and Senior Citizens with abusive Landlord tactics of NO HEAT-TO-LOW HEAT practices and policy!!! But, of course, THIS NYC SLUMLORDS (the \"Usual Suspects\") BUYING up our neighborhoods is beginning to happen again in the surrounding areas of Hoboken, NJ, Jersey City, NJ or Hudson County. more ... hide ...

I moved here just a month ago and I confess that I already regret it. Since the day I moved I complained that the dishwasher was not working perfectly, my husband and daughter have already emailed, nothing has been done , now it has been a week since the dishwasher has completely stopped working, no turn on the light, nothing! I called their maintenance phone they said they would come the same day to fix it, I stopped going to work to wait for them to arrive because they only work from 9am to 4pm and no one showed up! They sent an email to my husband saying they would come the next day, I missed the other day of work also waiting for them and nothing! When I called to complain, a very rude gentleman yelled at me and my daughter on the phone saying that he had no one to come, and that he didnt know what day he would come. This is absurd, I missed two days of work for them to keep me waiting all day for this? As I had missed two days of work and was at risk of losing my job, my daughter also didnt go to work for two days to wait for them, and believe me, no one came until today, we called, sent an email, went to the office 3 sometimes nobody solves anything! Im paying rent to live here, its not free to treat me like Im nothing. Total disregard for us! Thats because its only been a month, Im already worried about what Im going to have to go through from now on!!! more ... hide ...

I am so deeply frustrated with the management by Lorraine. I have had so many issues with both of the apartments Ive been at its ridiculous. I reported I needed a new air conditioner at my old apartment and did n ot receive one until a month or so later and it wasnt even a new one it was a used one. Which would have been fine if it didnt break about 2 weeks later. Then I have an issue with the bottom of my door rotting off leaving a 2 inch gap from my floor to the bass of the door. They proceeded to tell me I didnt need a new door I just needed a metal plate to cover it. I only got my new door my bringing her over to my house and showing her the hole in my door. Then I moved and had to move my air conditioners over to my new apartment myself because the ones in there were so old and unused when we tried to turn them on they blew out dirt and she didnt want her guys moving them for us. Then we found out my second bedroom window was pouring water in every time it rained. Ruining chargers soaking our bed and floor. We have been in this apartment since December and have had nothing but problems. The window still has not been fixed. And now my living room window is leaking when it rains. I had them come out (yet again) and this time the problem was found! There was a 2-3 inch gap between the window and the window frame. The windows were not put in properly at all the first time. And talking to other people I have come to find out this was an issue reported to Lorraine before I had even moved in and nothing was done about it. Today they were supposed to actually fix it but it was raining so its getting pushed to next Thursday because its also supposed to rain Monday- Wednesday. Hope (works at the front desk) had asked if I wanted something temporary in the mean time I had told her only if the person working on my window had a suggestion. Lorraine had called me back and told me he specifically suggested some type of plastic and tape for now I said as long as he personally suggested it i will have him do it. I had told her to call me when he was ready to do it because I wanted to be there to oversee the work being done she said okay. At this point everyone knew I wanted to be there when the work was being done. I left for work and later found my phone had been blown up by phone calls from my sister and Hope from the office. (Mind you my name is the ONLY name on my lease) Everyone had reminded her I wanted to be there before anything was done and Lorraine took it upon herself to ignore my request and send him anyway while I was not there. So I get there and come to find out Lorraine has now gone against my wishes twice. The person working on my windows NEVER suggested the plastic and tape! He said it was a waste and probably wasnt going to work! Which is probably what she was trying to hide by having him go there before I got there. Lorraine has been lying to tenants and not fulfilling her job as property manager for so long its honestly embarrassing to say I live here. My shower knob also broke a while ago and me and the workers had to fight for her to order the part for my shower and even when Lorraine finally ordered the part it wasnt the right one. I sent her the picture of my shower knob in march and still have not received my new shower knob. I am beyond dissatisfied with the help I receive from Lorraine. She completely goes against my wishes and tries to do everything the cheapest way possible, which in the end will end up costing her more money. more ... hide ...
