It not design for forever home.. more of living assistance program to train you how to live a life independency. I live there for nearly 3 years. I recall the rules are flexible. as the months go by. each residents get e victed. because they violated a cute rule. you know, singing so loud in the shower.. the problem is the wall is so thin, the building was built in a rush. 30 units they are allll studios. Good size, seems luxurious, very cheap rent, but they will get in dept of your personal life. they want to know what you do on daily basis.. the hours you do. what work you did, what school you do and if you do not do at the certain hours you will be evicted. I got evicted for that. Not enough hours to keep the unit. They want to see how busy you are. not staying in the unit. No one should be treated with such manner. Even they are trying to help the outside of the property is hard to get a job. They kicked me out because I could not find a job. I am deaf and I am SSI I can afford a rent of that place. but they want to see me to have a job. I can understand that but not easy to find one. This is the worst place to live in.let me tell you my worst experience with them. I was out all day in search of finding an apartment I was planning to move out before they could evict me. I found an apartment with two rooms. They want to know WHY I am looking for it. WHY two rooms.. and I am also gaining weight they assumed that I am pregnant and forced me to take the pregnancy test 3 times. they all came back negative. few months later they kicked me outNo one is allow to have kids in this residents, no pets even if they are service dogs. this place feels so much like a prison. They made a right move. Kicking me out of that place. I packed my things and cleaned it squeaky clean and wrote down what is broken what needs to be fix to avoid the lawsuit. and it works. more ... hide ...

I have been living in The Mews at Collingswood aka The Willows for over for 13 years and have been on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom for 9 years. Yet they are moving people in from outside. Im a great tenant never any problems. I pay my rent and now when you call the office during business hours no ones there. You leave messages no one gets back to you. They wont tell you where you are on the waiting list. Yet they move people in but what about the people who live here and are waiting and have children and need space. Its definitely not the same here. Its a shame.. more ... hide ...
