I worked for Code Black Security as a armed guard for this location. This site is run terribly. Please be advised before you move here that this is a low income housing project. The people that live here are no better th an inmates in a maximum security prison. They are struggling and angry and very very combative to any and everyone.The building management office is lacking in skill and professionalism. The heavy set black woman with a weave is by far the most difficult, condescending and lazy woman I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. I called her several times for numerous issues that I noticed as an officer and she does nothing.She once did not want to handle removing ice from a handicap parking spot for a long time tenant who may be over 80 years old with a walker. I walked the woman through a mountain of ice covering the parking spot she has held for years because the heavy set black building manager did nothing and left ice there after a storm. How cold is that?Do your research, visit this location and speak with other people that live here before moving here. You will find that you are saving yourself a world of trouble by choosing another location. more ... hide ...

As of September 15th 2017 they have shut down the central AC at 5001 Park Avenue. I went to visit my 75 year old mother yesterday and he apartment was at 93 degrees with all windows opened and four fans running at 8pm. T hey have no consideration for the elderly living there. Last night at 11:45pm about 15-20 (elderly) tenants were sitting outside because the temps in their apartment was peeking 90s+. This is ridicules and something needs to be done ASAP. This is hazards for this poor people especially the ones who suffer from oxygen etc. Why dont they have their own parents living in this so they can feel to desperation and concern we have towards our mothers, fathers and grandparents. This cant be legal. Ive called all stations today to get something done. My mother cant continue living under these circumstances. more ... hide ...
