Management is awesome and are trying to improve the apartments. There is the issue that neighbors visitors have a bad habit of hitting other peoples car. I currently have more scratches and dings on my vehicle from peopl e visiting neighbors and hitting my car. There is a lack of respect, and other issues. more ... hide ...

Slightly more friendly residents than other local subsided housing projects in the area. I have quite a few close friends who reside there with their children. They enjoy the relative safety & silence, the kids love the playgrounds, the adults appreciate the community grilles and the moms, dads, grandparents & children most definitely like being directly across the street from the elementary school. Not to mention Shadis convenient store/gas station/local hang-out is a 5 minute walk & Dollar General is approximately 8-10 minutes walking distance. more ... hide ...

I would like to give a better rating but cannot. The apartment is nice, well maintained, comfortable in winter and summer, and quiet. Maintenance is excellent and as quick as parts availability allows. There is a new man ager who is professional, knowledgeable, and fair. However, she is not here 24 hours a day.To live here peacefully, you must become part of a \"group\" of residents who think they speak for everyone and control the building and follow the Lease only when it agrees with what they want. It is difficult to stay away from this bunch because there are no balconies or individual patios. To enjoy the outdoors you must go to common areas or leave the property. This \"group\" will be happy to let you be around them if you conform to exactly what they want - including your religious and moral stances. If you have a different or no religion, or your morals are different than theirs, or you are the wrong race or age, or you have a modern lifestyle, you will have problems daily. You also must agree with who they like and do not like in the building.Since I refuse to do that, I am not welcome near them and am under increasingly constant attack.I do not like writing this kind of review. There are many good people here - but they are overshadowed by the small \"group\" of gossiping, backbiting, lying Karens.Ill be glad to change this review if something is done to put a stop to these residents - but that has not happened yet in the 5 years I have lived here. And rather than continue to try to get things better - I too am looking for a nice, peaceful place to live, because this is not it.As a final update: I have found a better place than this to live.
