WARNING! LONG REVEIW BUT PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS PLACE TO RENT !!!!A POOR REFLECTION ON OUR GROWING NEIGHBORHOOD!I am a native of the historic hough neighborhood, and have lived here all my life. While my par ents were building our family home only 10 blocks from Lexington village, back in 2004 we lived in a unit similar to the one my husband and I occupy now¦ so when my husband and I started looking for a temporary place to dwell in 2020 while we prepare our new home in the neighborhood we thought Lexington Village would be a perfect fit.I am very familiar with Millennia Property management, and thought this would be pleasant experience.Well we are sad to report it has not.Moving into the unit was a bare, it took the management team from March to May to get back in touch with us regarding available units. Once we were informed there was a unit available the renovations took more than 90 days and we moved into the unit at the end of August 2021.After moving in we discovered multiple haphazard construction issues, including but not limited to the first floor bathroom mirror being broken, the toilet on the first floor not working, the closet sliding doors in the second bedroom fell completely off and almost crushed me, multiple holes were poorly patched in the wall, the banister leading upstairs was broken, our front door knob comes completely off and there was no washer and dryer in the unit as promised also, our brand new dishwasher did not work, and we had carpenter ants.NONE of the issues were eradicated with the exception of the dishwasher, which took months and multiple attempts and it currently still leaks all over the floor anytime we use it.When I contacted the office and had the misfortune of speaking with a Miss Daniel Webb she was rude condescending and down right unprofessional. She told me that my issues were minor, and that she couldnt deliver appliances she didnt have. She also informed me that fixing my toilet was not a priority because There are two bathrooms in the unit. Use the other one! With that interaction I NEVER wanted to speak with this woman again¦ but when we discovered the infestation of MICE in our unit we had no choice. The exterminator came out and pointed out multiple holes where the integrity of the structure was compromised¦ and explained that we would continually have a mouse issue until these holes were properly filled.Maintenance took its time coming to the unit and then Daniel Webb blamed us directly for the mice. Stating that it was our fault the mice came inside the unit because there was trash outside our back door. When in fact there were totes of gardening equipment stacked at our back door. Although these things were a bit untidy, it did not justify the mice being INSIDE our unit! She was again dismissive and rude and she is a disgusting person who should not be responsible for the care and facilitation of peoples living arrangements.I have been in a property management position and I would NEVER see myself treating tenants the way we have been treated since moving in here. After telling this woman exactly how I felt about her she issued us a non renewal of our lease that isnt up until August, and we are not insulted¦ we wouldnt ever look into this property again even if they were willing to pay us to live here. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had in any situation. And top it off, I made the followup mistake several months back of recommending some friends of ours apply here, and they were met with a member of the team asking why would you ever want to live here.? I now understand her sentiment and wish someone had duly warned us as well.2 thumbs down! WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND! more ... hide ...

I am truly gonna miss living here. For the six and a half years I stayed in these apartments, I never had an issue with Mold, Bugs, Rodents, or any other maintenance issues. And anytime I had an issue , it was very minor like a closet door or a window and brad( being the only maintenance at the time) came out right away and got it taken care of. Now they have another maintenance guy who is also great at his job. If they accepted section 8, I definitely wouldnt be going anywhere... Becki, there isnt enough words to say about this woman, she is kind, loving, and has that mothering warmth. She does not play about her tenants, the children or her property.... I love you guys so much, thanks for making my time there A comfortable, peaceful and loving experience ¤ I will definitely stay in touch!!!! more ... hide ...

Ive had to change my review on this place a couple of times now so heres the whole scoop... 3 stars because the good is very good and the bad is very bad.The good: very nice apartments for those 55 and better. Pets are allowed. Keyed/intercom entry. Wheelchair accessible entrance + elevators. Laundry on each floor. The bad: Entire building is supposed to be smoke free but theres a heavy smoker on the 1st floor and Ive heard also on the third floor (but I only know of the 1st floor). Second floor has always smelled fine. However, a man passed away on the second floor...when squad carried him out on a stretcher, something from the deceased man dripped all down the hallway. This wasnt cleaned until I made a post about the hallway carpets being dirty. The apartment was rented out before the drips on the hallway were cleaned - gross. There is ONE recycling bin now for the ENTIRE building!!! And this is a regular sized, city bin, like you would put out on your curb. And now theyve put it only on the 1st floor. So residents on the 2nd and 3rd floor now have to go out of their way to recycle!! If you make it difficult, folks will just throw it away... especially the elderly! Make it convenient for them so an entire buildings worth of recycables doesnt end up in landfills please!! Obviously, this company doesnt care about the environment at all. Also, expect rent to go up when renewing your lease. They ARE nice apartments, and the building itself is fairly new...less than 2 years old, I believe. I just feel they need a maintenance team, not 1 man, so things like the hallway carpets are addressed quicker. And recycling needs to be more convenient! more ... hide ...
