This is the ABSOLUTE WORST place to EVER rent.I lived in country side apartments. The same old lady who managed countryside also managed cole manor, her office is there. She is VERY rude.. I moved in and found needles and drugs in EVERY vent in my apartment. The duck-work for the air was NOT connected to my apartment in EVERY SINGLE ROOM! I told her about our issues and she said ill get maintenance over there to fix it. Hes probably around 80 years old. psh. He came in with a vacuum and sucked the needles up (so i thought) he had just pushed them farther down. I asked him if he was going to fix the duck work and he said he would have to do that the next day. It was 100 DEGREES outside and it wasnt until 3 days after we moved in that we realized that the duckwork had fallen underneath the house. So the next day came along and HE STILL DIDNT come fix it.! I called, and called and called. So FINALLY my fiance went under the apartments and fixed it himself! When she finally called back two days later saying im sorry i was out of the office i explained to her the issues we had went through and she said oh well ill talk to him and i said ok well we fixed it our self because noone would come to fix it and our electric bill is going to be SKY HIGH for it running NON stop those days so can we get a discount off this months rent. ( i would have been fine with 20 $) She said NO MAM its not my fault you couldnt wait for the maintenance. Its now a couple of days later and the duck work falls again and we had to fix it again because maintenance wasnt available . She then told me the reason it was falling is because the wood was dry rotted. He was supposed to come fix my storm door also and he attempted to several times but NEVER fixed it. It wouldnt shut , it fell off the hinges all the time and the manager WOULD not get me a new one. Then one day it was really pretty out and i went to lift all the windows and my front window wouldnt lift and there was a 1 inch crack where the air had been getting in this whole time, i called maintenance and he came 24 hours later and actually BROKE my window and the manager told me it would be a week before i got another... I NEVER DID ! The pool was LIME green all summer but the manager said it was safe to swim in. Me and my fiance decided we both wanted to get out of there and she said that was fine but she was not giving me my 300 DEPOSIT back even though it cost us over 300 in the troubles we experienced.. (electric was SOO high , had to replace filter for air conditioning , fixing the duck work more than once, needles being in the vents when i had a 2 year old running around)Our next door neighbor was a drug dealer constantly dealing drugs he even had asked m fiance if he wanted to buy any or knew any one who bought them. People were constantly arguing and apparently he stole from his friends that lived over there and the cops were there on 8 different occasions .Needless to say we started a lawsuit because of the treatment we got and our 300 that was never given back to us. We left the house for vacation for 4 days and someone kicked in our door and stole our 48 inch flat screen tv and our xbox. We reported it to the police when we got home and the manager said thats why we werent getting our deposit back. We just now found out we were eligible for a law suit about 2 months ago. I have all the pictures of the needles in the vents , the duck work under our apartment , our kicked in door, the pool lime green... I knew they would come to good use. they are dated .STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! .News channel 2 is even interested in airing our story on the news .. Thats how bad it really was. more ... hide ...
