I have lived at the ParkMeadows almost 5yrs and have never seen the grounds Looking like it looks nowTrash every where it is so embarrassing when I have company or when the Bus picks me up for Dyalisis. This looks like s lums.When I first moved to my new apartment I loved it.But now my upstairs neighbors are the neighbors from Hell they act later ke they be running track in the apartment from one side to the other dont know if its kids or grownups all know is they need to stop. This is everyday and night . And very annoying. Sometimes I have to get up at 230 in the morning to get ready for Dyalisis and I need my sleep. Ive told the office several times but nothing has been done about it. more ... hide ...

Although the rehab specialists are good and nice, the daily care for my mom in March 2107 was horrible. She couldnt walk and, in spite of repeated requests, they did not put the call button in her reach. She was helples s in her bed or wheel chair. They put diapers on her as they didnt get to her in time to help her to the bathroom. They did not provide adequate nutrition assistance, not giving her ensure. When I pushed her button or she did, the wait for care was generally 20 minutes and never less than 5 minutes. I saw others with no one there visiting wait even longer. There is no security even, as the desk up front was almost never occupied. Guests, outside caregivers, etc. would stand waiting till another visitor or someone walked by to direct them. No one ever questioned me going in or out, much less helped me. The nurses in the main area use the closet as their office so they can close the door and not be bothered by those needing help. If there is an aid at the \"nursing station\" desk, they ignore residents and tell everyone to wait. They seem very, very overwhelmed and too busy. Understaffing is no excuse for the poor care - it is the reason. Even the online rankings that make them look so good are misleading -- ratings dont take into account any item they dont provide information on. And the claim that 100% of residents are always vaccinated is unbelievable. IF YOU USE THEM - have a family member or better yet a private aid available to provide daily care. And be careful about complaining -- they have a reputation for transferring out complainers or those doing poorly. more ... hide ...
