The five stars I give for this review is not for the Meridian North as a whole but specifically for the new assistant manager here Ashley Woods. When I first moved in I would have given this place negative stars if that was a possibility based on the staff alone. I havent had my mailbox keys nor had my maintenance request filled since I moved in during December of 2021 but in her first week Ashley as already gotten me my mailbox keys and I have seen maintenance come to my door twice to speak with me. Unfortunately I was at work so I missed them but the fact that they have actually tried to contact me twice since Ashley has started gives me hope that she is the breath of fresh air that can breathe new life into the otherwise ridiculously managed apartment complex. Keep doing your thing Ashley. I appreciate you.Since I cant respond to the comment left by the Meridian North on my review Im adding this edit and pray you see it. Please take my compliment with a grain of salt because I am not pleased with your staff whatsoever. With the exception of Ashley no one calls me or responds to my emails in an even remotely timely fashion. Trying to get in contact with the office is an absolute nightmare. I came today to pick up my keys and after spending 30 mins calling repeatedly and being sent to the call center every time I dont want to give the impression that with the exception of the new Assistant manager there is anything that makes living here a positive experience in any way, shape or form other than having a place to lay my head at night. more ... hide ...

Good place to live. Friendly and clean. Very good maintenance crew, trustworthy. Didnt like the apartment management very much. Nickel and dime you over everything. Charged me when my blinds broke, and took some of my de posit because there were spots on the carpet where their own people walked in after the parking lot got paved. Seemed like they unfairly jacked the rent prices up too high the last year I lived there too.. Besides that, very friendly community. Your Amazon packages might get stolen here though. But thats most apartments. more ... hide ...

I also was charged over 1000 $$ for total carpet replacement. Spouse is in a wheelchair. We lived there one year without a section 8 voucher. When the lease was up for renewal they uped the rent to 975$. So we moved. T hey are charging 30 dollars for one blind. 180 for cleaning.Update: They do not try and clean carpeting first. They just replace then bill you. If the carpet looks good they will blame your pet ( ours is 8 years old, potty trained, and cost $25 more per month to live there with an extra $350 deposite, that they try to say cant be used for their charges but if you read the lease it is supposed to be applied). Some dishonesty on the apartment managers end. When you move out they do not offer a walk thru or itimized bill. Also worth mentioning is there is single pane windows in these apartments that condensate and can grow mold. When it rains heavy water pools by the front door.Just dont move here.
