Since 2014 Ive had my section 8 voucher through the Monroe Housing Commission I have no felony convictions and no evictions For 7 years weve lived in the same house residing in Monroe Michigan We have an amazing relationship with the landlord My lovely daughter who is also included to the voucher is a 22 year old full time college student and is also employed as my personal caregiver I am on disability my main income is through social security our voucher contract rent is now 927 where we are now with utilities we pay 337 We do not have any pets but are wanting to get a small dog We will survive if not permitted We are looking for comfortable longevity when searching also granted compromise on any security deposit that may be too high for us and our savings this time but are hoping can be worked with on or possibly eligible to be paid in installments Currently we are working toward becoming home owners through the HVC Housing Choice Voucher Program with the State of Michigan our reason for moving we would really just appreciate a change in positive scenery
