I have been a resident for five years.. they cater to their tenants right were they are in life. Correspondence between management and tenants is in their own native language and community notices and pertinent information and events are always current . They not only post tenant notices, events both in house and out, in public areas (areas that are visablle to everyone) and they go the extra mile by sliding duplicate copies under each tenants apartment door in their own native language . They try to fulfill individual needs as much as possible.. And when they cant, they are willing to go the extra mile to find an agency in a timely and consideratemanner.Then they follow up by a personal phonecall or a one on one invite to confirm if the accommodation has been met. Tenants show theirappreciation by picking up loose scraps of paper in corridors. elevator and the laundry room.. ChristmasThangsgiveng and personal cards for birthdays various other occasions are left with envelopes hoping that they will be put to good use.i cant remember the last time I went to use a dryer in the laundry and their was a pile of lent left by the previous patron. When the coin machine in the laundry room has been emptied of quarters, I have seen a note with a bunch of quarters on topwith a note of empathy stating, I know the feeling of having a pile of dirty laundry all ready forwashing and you are trying to keep on schedule with your long list of Todays chores I hopethese extra quarters can be of help to you. ( and of course the. note is anonymous )I personally have had a favorite lunch from childhood. Mom use to make grilled cheese sandwiches with Tomato soup.. I kept telling myself,I should get a grill from savers , butIt kept slipping my mind. About six months ago, there was a grill on the cloths folding counterSaying I hope this can be of use to someone.I really dont know how many different languages are spoken is this blessed facility .However, the language of kindness is not restricted to any one ethnicity and the respectFor souls which the last time I counted was one for every person God made in his own imageIs perhaps the strongest strength for Riley House.I was blessed by knowing Bishop Rley Personally and I cant think of a more humble human beingand just the fact that it is named after him (. By the way he didnt want the recognition.)Deserves a sixth star . The virtuous behavior of so many tenants leads me to believe his spirit is still a among us.His Excellencys comment to his parishionerswas Our help is in the name of the LordTo which they responded Who made heaven and earth more ...
