Cons: There are some questionable people in the area and it seems the Tempe PD no longer patrols the parking lot (as far as I know); Gracies accepts vouchers such as Section 8, Biltmore Properties, and HomInc, meaning your neighbor could be paying a fraction of what you do; the waitlist for housing is incredibly long (possibly two years) due to shortage in Section 8 housing; and it's not possible to bypass the waitlist even if you pay cash, as this would be unfair to those who obtain vouchers through poverty, disability, or mental health. In conclusion, this is the perfect place to apply for Tempe housing if you have or plan to have a voucher. Those who pay the standard amount (e.g. $226 a month for $755 SSI) should be grateful for such nice accommodations. If you aren't familiar with housing vouchers, it's best to look elsewhere.
