lived in pinal county for about 30 years and was employed by the county for almost 9 yrs i contracted viral cardiomyopathy and was forced onto permanent disability my daughter lived in payson and suggested i move here so she could help she and her husband moved back to pinal county for work leaving me here alone im in an upstairs apartment two flights up with a medical alert dog as my health declines i cant get water or groceries upstairs or take my dog out to potty there is no one here to help the cold weather and altitude is causing my health to fail rapidly and i am plagued with pneumonia which only weakens me further the hospital here wont treat me because im high risk so phoenix is the only option finding a good cardiologist is impossible i just want to be home near my daughter and friends thank you for your consideration

Delois Jackson is an amazing manager and her staff is amazing as well. I dont even like living in apartments and the typical staff make it even worse. I wish all management was like this. I applied for rent assistance and received a call over a week later requesting additional documents. I was told once all documents are received it could take another month to get approved. I explained that my September rent is due and October is a few days away and there is no rent haven, the lady was very short tempered and belittling telling me rudely €œdo you think your the only one who needs help?!€ and then attempts to pass the buck by telling me apply for DES rental assistance (even though I was denied and trying to get ahold of a DES Rep is near impossible as I€™ve tried calling them for the last 3 weeks what a joke!). I had enough of this rude lady and just hung up on her, just because you work for the county doesn€™t give you the ok to treat tax payers with disrespect! If your almost a month behind and need help with your rent payment, look elsewhere or be prepared to wait 4-6 weeks for an answer which by then you€™ll already be facing an eviction notice. The local government is a joke!more ...hide ...
