This is due to the presence of "common" areas such as a large flat screen TV, picnic and barbecue area, as well as trails for walking (or, in my case, wheeling) around. These areas, however, are "governed" by a small "clique" of residents, making it difficult for those not belonging to the "clique" to feel included. For example, the much-advertised potluck and barbecue dinners are run by this clique, causing an uncomfortable atmosphere for those not part of the "clique". Even collecting mail from the main common area can create an uncomfortable situation, as conversation will suddenly stop and people will stare until you get your mail and leave. As a result, I only check my mail during late night or early morning hours. It is disheartening to feel unwelcome in your own home. For elderly, sick, or disabled individuals, the feeling of being spurned and treated rudely can be particularly harmful to their health and can even lead to death. The building in very nice and the surrounding area is peaceful The apartments are very nice however the floorceiling is not well insulated so you can hear ALL the noise coming from above you It is very irritating to be jolted awake by a noise neig The building in very nice and the surrounding area is peaceful The apartments are very nice however the floorceiling is not well insulated so you can hear ALL the noise coming from above you It is very irritating to be jolted awake by a noise neighbor who lives above your apartment This is advertised as a smoke free place IT IS NOT on a windy day the cigarette smoke fills the hallways and come through the ventilation system into the apartment If you have an allergy to cigarette smoke this IS NOT the place for you Management does nothing to control the situation A new maintenance man was hired he does absolutely nothing a lot of people have requested maintenance in their apartment iechange a light bulb he is slow to get the problem fixed and sometimes he just ignores the request more ... hide ...
