The reason for only giving a three-star review is based on the following: Ehlinger Apartments, LTD. has a Home Ownership Incentive program, which requires a tenant to have stayed for a minimum of two years and provide proof of home purchase within 90 days of leaving. Although I had purchased a new construction home and given a deposit, it was not completed within the 90-day period due to supply shortages, and the Property Management (SPM, Inc.) denied my request for the incentive. I believe this was unreasonable and unfair to me, as I had been a tenant for 8 years. more ... hide ...

I left a five-star rating, as the management team truly earned it. Every staff member is always courteous, pleasant, and just in their dealings with me and those around me. Yari displays the utmost professionalism with each encounter and her cheerful disposition makes me feel welcome. She showed great empathy by simply listening to me and understanding my personal struggles. Ana is another staff member who possesses a delightful personality; she is attentive to detail and responds promptly to all forms of communication. The maintenance team is highly capable and I can't imagine what I would do without them. They have even shared a few tips with me to maintain my home in the long term. Everyone in the area is friendly and caring, and the neighbours are peaceful. I have lived in East Village from May 2017, and it has always felt like home. When the time comes to say goodbye, I will miss this place dearly; some of the best years of my life have been spent here. more ... hide ...
