The state of these apartments has deteriorated drastically over the years and new owners have sent them into a downward spiral. Lease violations, county code violations, and fire safety issues occur frequently with no action taken by management. Furthermore, residents are charged extra for parking spaces due to commercial work vans using all available spots; grilling is done on balconies; old tires are strewn across the property; food tents set up on weekends, violating county codes; and the breezeways have not been cleaned in four years. Additionally, water comes out brown at times, there are bugs and rodents in attic spaces; rent is increasing by over 30%; AC not working for two+ years; pool closed for three years; crime including muggings, car vandalization and break-ins (DeKalb Co doesn't patrol); harassment from other tenants & mgmt (former); can't comment on website/Facebook page due to shut off comments from mgmt.; no background checks done on adults living in units despite multiple kids residing there as well - another violation. If I could give zero stars I would They have to be one of the worst apartments in the area They look nice on the outside mostly cause of the location The apartment was infested with roaches no matter how clean you were Once the lease was coming to anIf I could give zero stars I would They have to be one of the worst apartments in the area They look nice on the outside mostly cause of the location The apartment was infested with roaches no matter how clean you were Once the lease was coming to an end the property was sold and the old leasing team had already told me when my move out date was But once the new leasing team came they were so quick to let me know when I should leave telling me I had to leave a day earlier then what I was told the first time I had to pay a whole months rent for deposit I still havent received nothing after 8 months Under Georgia law a landlord must return the tenants security deposit within one month after the tenant has surrendered the rental property to the landlord I did my part as to give them the apartment in the cleanest way THESE APARTMENTS KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT EVEN UNDER NEW MANAGEMENTmore ...hide ...

(ZERO STAR REVIEW) After being told it would take 2-3 business days to get an answer to my application, it took three entire weeks and numerous calls to finally hear back from them. Nobody is ever in the office and the phone goes straight to voicemail 90% of the time. I had to show up in person to get an update and their office was closed and locked on a Monday afternoon. After paying to extend my lease while waiting for a response, I was denied due to outdated rental history, despite the fact that I had been a reliable tenant for the majority of my 3 years there and had evidence to back up my claim that my hours were cut due to COVID-19. To make matters worse, they sent out two emails during the three weeks I was waiting for an answer about plumbing issues resulting in the water being shut off. They repeatedly said my rental and employment verification had not been submitted, though both my employer and current property confirmed it had been submitted three times. It was the worst property management experience of my life and, to add insult to injury, there was no refund of my admin/application fees. The leasing agents are polite, but the property manager is useless. Avoid this place.more ...hide ...
