A good many of the boxes are marked \"fragile\" or \"glass\" to indicate to be careful with these boxes. I do not know why I bothered. I also do not know why I didnt just take everything to the landfill after watching this young man literally throw all the boxes into the back of the truck. I was so upset at seeing this that I did open the door and told him that there are a lot of breakable items in the boxes. He did not acknowledge me other than to keep doing what he was doing and reply, \"yep\".I am just sick at seeing how this was handled. Despite the fact that I no long want or need these things, I took care in packing the boxes carefully, because I feel they still have value, and I do care about them and donate them in hopes they will be needed or wanted by someone else.I will never donate to The Arc again!more ...hide ...

The three managers I have had all refused to do basic things. In 2019 my kitchen ceiling caved in, and it took six months for it to be repaired - the cause was a water leak from 2016 that was never sorted out. Additionally, there are squirrels in the attic, and management is not doing anything about it. Parking is a joke. Assigned parking was introduced in 2019, but it doesn't make a difference as management doesn't do anything when someone parks in your spot. The neighbours are very loud and they constantly disregard the lease by parking in the wrong places, playing loud music after the set time, leaving litter on the property and having their guests antagonize other residents. Management has been informed of this countless times, as well as the police (who said it is up to management to fix). The past and present management have not done anything about it. There is a lot more I have experienced during my seven years here that would take too long to write. This is a despicable property and I advise against it - you may end up with a caved-in ceiling due to poor maintenance. I hope the authorities intervene and take control, this place desperately needs it.more ...hide ...

If you pay with debit, there's an extra $6 fee; if you pay with credit, you'll be charged a $26 fee. Plus, the app doesn't show what the fees are for, so along with paying more than what was specified in the lease, you won't know what your money is going towards. There's a charge of $80-90 per month that I presume is for trash, but my biggest grievance is that I can't pay anything but the full $1,600, so I'm not able to split the payment with my roommate unless they first put the money in my account. It's as if the property owners are eager to get that $100 late fee, so they use the worst app imaginable and charge you for the displeasure. To top it off, the laundry facilities are horrendous, causing skin irritation and inflammation. Mariachi music blares until 4 AM and there is no parking, so if you're keen to pay too much, get worked up over the payment app and battle for a parking spot, this is the place for you – where someone else is getting rich without putting in the effort to create an easy-to-use payment app, and who refuses payment in any way other than through the app.more ...hide ...
