My doors are all falling off their hinges due to rotting wood, there is a moldy smell from an unfixed leak above my unit that allows people from the basement I cannot access to view into my kitchen, people have pooped in the back parking lot, and I was without a working fridge for four days when I first moved in even though that was one of the first things I asked to be fixed. Homeless people sleep in the hallway leading to the laundry room, and me and my three year old children were locked inside our apartment after we had asked someone to fix it a week prior. The management here only wants your money, they do not care about actually taking care of their complex which makes them slum lords – avoid Barret Asset Management at all costs. They will tell you to contact them or file an online request but they just ignore what they do not want to address; despite calling, texting, filling out an online request form, leaving voicemails and even having the health department call them, our issues remain unresolved. more ... hide ...
