The front entrance door is usually propped open by the Somalian families living on the first and second levels. The first and second levels of the building have an unpleasant odor, as does the elevator, which often breaks down. The stairwells are smelly. Property management is subpar and they seldom come to the office. Windows in the apartments are old-fashioned, with a "turn knob" structure (similar to an early 1990s car). The heater and AC are combined into one unit. This year, someone broke into the underground car garage (presumably because the front door was open) and robbed and vandalized all the vehicles. The building's occupants were not given any compensation by the property management and all that was done was sending out an apology letter.Pros: The prices are reasonable in comparison to other places in the area, but the cleanliness of the building is inadequate. They occasionally host community events and assist people in the area when tax season is approaching. The apartments look good, with some having a nice view of the city skyline. The location is very convenient to all uptown stores/restaurants and highways. They are constructing a newer, more costly development and taking waiting lists for it. If you are a first-time renter, this is a decent place to live, but if you have been renting for a long time, this should be avoided at allmore ...hide ...

I called and made an appointment one week before for an apartment showing. When we went to the office on Saturday for the showing, Julia refused to showing us the apartment and we told her we already have an appointment and we came from Burnsville, she still insisted to not showing us the aprtment and I asked her if we took one hour to come here for nothing even though we have an appointment? She said she doesnt care. She made me feel very frustrated and because of her I hate this place.I hope the manager reads this because she has no right to treat people like that. she was really rude and unprofessional.more ...hide ...
