I have never been late with a payment and I observed my contract for all twelve months, yet they are attempting to charge me for a thirteenth month, even though the contract explicitly states when my agreement concludes and that is when I will be leaving the building. A neighbor told me a while ago that when people leave this community, the office will attempt to take money from them in any way possible. I can see now that it is true, but I will not be taken in by their shenanigans. I strongly suggest that any present tenants take photographs, screenshots, and videos of the agreement, emails between them and the office, and the state of the unit both before and after they move out. This will demonstrate exactly how you leave the premises, since I have been warned that they will allege that you left it different than it actually was. I think they are money-hungry and unscrupulous. Make sure you have witnesses, such as movers, friends, and so forth. Prepare yourself for those underhanded people. Dispute, dispute, dispute! My experience living in Lees Summit was great, but I relocated to Blue Springs and these companies are dishonest. Amazing!more ...hide ...

The grounds and buildings are cleaned well when snow and ice happen Mowing and trimming are good Insides are being remodeled in between tenants Quiet community mostly A few message board entries indicate maybe not as quiet for everyone

UPDATE!! After hearing my "new" rent and discovering there is a balance of $1.85, I am left completely baffled. Michael, the manager, appears to be completely incompetent for the job. Michael, the manager, appears to be completely incompetent for the job. I have reached out to the corporate office for answers. I have been living here for two years and recently signed up for a third year, which was a huge mistake. Today I was told I owed $27 for some unexplained prorate charges despite my on-time payments and bills. Furthermore, the lease agreement I signed states my rent is $1102, but the manager said it is $1098 - which is it? He also mentioned my rent next month could be different due to prorate fees and that beginning January 1 all rent must be paid electronically or set up on auto pay to avoid extra fees. I will not be signing up for a fourth year here and come July, they will receive my notice. I strongly suggest avoiding this place and finding another rental.more ...hide ...
