Living here at Nowata Gardens has been an amazing experience. I have lived here for 4+ years and have had many life changing experiences, but I must say my favorite thing about living here is the fact that your family isLiving here at Nowata Gardens has been an amazing experience. I have lived here for 4+ years and have had many life changing experiences, but I must say my favorite thing about living here is the fact that your family is almost immediately extended to include your neighbors. The people who live here are very good at pulling together for one another. Then there is the bi-weekly Bingo games and monthly Potlucks. The community room is an amazing room you can use for large family dinners or other parties like, showers, birthdays, or anniversaries with no rental fee. There are Sunday services without ever leaving the building. I have loved the past 4+ years being here @ Nowata Gardens.more ...hide ...

The maintenance man arrived and cleared it up, saying there was no issue, and that I should call the office if it occurred again. Around one week later, I observed my daughter's closet was drenched. Everything on the floor of the closet had to be discarded since it was ruined, with mold on it. Due to the fact that I have a one-year-old toddler, and I am almost at the end of my nine months of pregnancy, with my c-section scheduled in two weeks, we chose to move out because it was not safe. The landlord told me I could remain in the apartment, but I had to "work around the fans" they had put down as an effort to dry the carpet. They declared they would replace the carpet in my daughter's closet, but it would take them a week or two before it's done. I went back to the apartment on a Saturday, to examine the place and see if any progress had been made, but there were keys in my door, (which my neighbor declared had been there all day), the door was unlocked, yet no other indication of development in the apartment. It's been a weekend, and nobody has been there to do anything about it. If I were able to give this place a lower rating, I would.more ...hide ...
