The landlord told me I could remain in the apartment, but I had to "work around the fans" they had put down as an effort to dry the carpet. They declared they would replace the carpet in my daughter's closet, but it would take them a week or two before it's done. I went back to the apartment on a Saturday, to examine the place and see if any progress had been made, but there were keys in my door, (which my neighbor declared had been there all day), the door was unlocked, yet no other indication of development in the apartment.
