My father had a brief stay at Germantown Home for rehabilitation, and our family's experience was truly outstanding from start to finish! We were welcomed warmly and personally by Terri, the admissions director. We were welcomed warmly and personally by Terri, the admissions director. The nurses and team members on the floor were fantastic and very pleasant every day. To our amazement, they got him walking and climbing stairs quickly. We were also assisted that night by the DON, Zena, and when I phoned her twice, she answered right away and acted promptly in accordance with my request. I also had the opportunity to meet the Administrator, Pam Howard, who guaranteed us that my father would be taken care of properly, and he was! The personnel surpassed all our expectations, and they all seemed to love working there. After speaking to Pam, I understood why the facility is the way it is. The building was very clean and bright. My father really enjoyed his time there and, more importantly, he was able to walk up the many stairs to his home when he was discharged. We are thankful for all the staff at Germantown Home, and give praise to God for His goodness!more ...hide ...

The company that runs Blakemore Gardens do not care about their tenants complaints. We have been having electrical and heating issues with this apartment since the winter. We have been having electrical and heating issues with this apartment since the winter. We notified them of heating issues but nothing has changed. Now its summer and the electricity keeps going off in half of the apartment. The last time our electric went out was May 27th and it is still off. Every time that you put in maintenance request the take FOREVER to fix it. On top of that they tell you that they are coming one day and never come. They dont answer phone calls. All of it is just frustrating. God forbid you have noisy neighbors, youre gonna hear everything that they do. Mice run all through the apartments and the walls.The pros: Transportation, grocery stores, and neighborhoodThis is an apartment for people to build their credit.
