To our amazement, they got him walking and climbing stairs quickly. We were also assisted that night by the DON, Zena, and when I phoned her twice, she answered right away and acted promptly in accordance with my request. I also had the opportunity to meet the Administrator, Pam Howard, who guaranteed us that my father would be taken care of properly, and he was! The personnel surpassed all our expectations, and they all seemed to love working there. After speaking to Pam, I understood why the facility is the way it is. The building was very clean and bright. My father really enjoyed his time there and, more importantly, he was able to walk up the many stairs to his home when he was discharged. Now its summer and the electricity keeps going off in half of the apartment. The last time our electric went out was May 27th and it is still off. Every time that you put in maintenance request the take FOREVER to fix it. On top of that they tell you that they are coming one day and never come. They dont answer phone calls. All of it is just frustrating. God forbid you have noisy neighbors, youre gonna hear everything that they do.
