At first we thought it was Vista since we were super close with it. We as in me and my mom. But then North Ridge goes from a step behind, to same step, and then about a day or two later ready for us to move in. Gave us 10 days or theyd give it to someone else. I was a bit curious how they managed to move so much faster here and at first it seem like a real good place to live but thats from the outside.Okay lets start with the area. There are some loud unruly kids here and there, people that play loud music every now and then, and people who love squealing tires and making as much noise as possible with their cars. Its not so often to drive you insane, though I suppose people who live next to the sources may beg to differ. Thankfully where we are, its not too bad as most of the time with our windows up, we only hear doors opening and closing, trashcans, and the highway nearby. The yard as of this post is nice, grass not too large, though there is a few hidden dips on the way that can trip someone if they arent careful. As for the apartment, when we got in, we found our answer pretty quickly on why they moved so much faster than Vista. It was kind of a quick patch. It looks nice at first but when we really looked, dead bugs. Walls not down to the floors all the way which means ants just come up from under them and potentially roaches which has a few times. Thought they were coming from the backdoor with the amount of light you can see from it. The kitchen window isnt patched on all the way as they must of missed it from evicting last family. Food trapped between the cracks of the dishwasher they didnt clean. Stove hasnt been cleaned all the way so we had to do that after moving in. Dishwasher wasnt cleaned either. They practically just only did all the easy to spot stuff and didnt check any insides, corners, and whatnot. When we got in, I had to spray for roaches and ants, I believe they were an aftermath of the old neighbors because they had a very nasty porch and I do not want to imagine the inside of that apartment. Though then again some reviews hint bug problems as well. While they have sent people out, they only do specifically what they are told about. Our apartment isnt perfect, but Im hopeful theyll work with us to at least close up these cracks along the walls at the bottom and the one above the big window in the main bedroom likely left by previous family at the very least. With winter coming, Id rather not spend time worrying about whats going to try and squeeze under there in hopes of finding warmth. My advice is if you move in, really check everything out inside and out so you can bring it to their attention. Its not too bad, but it isnt good either. Just average overall. If our apartment gets these cracks sealed then Id likely 4 star it.more ...hide ...
I have lived here for over a year and I honestly love living here. Its very nice and clean! The manager that rented my apartment, Megan really took her job gracefully and took the time to address everyones concern. Most I have lived here for over a year and I honestly love living here. Its very nice and clean! The manager that rented my apartment, Megan really took her job gracefully and took the time to address everyones concern. Most of all she cleaned up the apartments complex with a positive, friendly attitude along with Kirby our maintenance man. As a team they made a tremondous change, with respect and a outlook that will forever be greatly appreciated! Now we have Lisa and Kirby as a team, and she is very nice as well, I know I am happy with her as she took Megans place for her to move on to a sister property! I know they wont be disappointed as she ALWAYS leaves a positive impact on many lives!more ...hide ...
