The windows to the bedroom are on the stairwell landing, which means I can't open them without people outside the building seeing into it. The door to the east wing is outside the flat and is constantly being opened and closed. People sitting on the steps outside often smoke, so I can't open the windows either. There are buckets of water that have been in the corridors for months due to leaking pipes in the ceiling. If the staff likes you, they are great, but if you complain about something, like how they kept a package in the office for five months with no tracking system, you will be put on their blacklist. The pipes in the bathroom have black string mold, so no matter how much I clean it, it just keeps coming back. Work trucks will park underneath the window all day for whatever project they are doing, like carpet cleaning. The apartment above has no sound insulation, so at all hours of the day and night, the ceiling shakes with loud thumps. Some people love living here, but you have to be on the top floor and on the southwest end of the building to have a decent apartment. The rest are not so great. Horrible place to live! Yes this is an old building but it is run down and management does NOT take care of it. It is hard to reach management for issues and they do not upkeep the maintenance with units OR the exterior Horrible place to live! It is hard to reach management for issues and they do not upkeep the maintenance with units OR the exterior of the building, which is also the residents job as well and people who live here do not care. People also steal packages here constantly, so its smart to invest in an alternative way to receive anything you dont want someone else to get their hands on, Ive had hundreds of dollars worth of things stolen by residents here. People play loud disturbing music in their cars here day and night because they dont have respect for anyone else, and also loud music in their units which you can hear through the walls AND the floors. Theres limited good parking, underground parking is very narrow, and streets are frequently closed or crowded due to events downtown. Overall, if you can avoid it, LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE if youre smart. Im a tenant at Trinity Terrace, great place for elders. Very friendly neighbors, quiet area, provides a lot for the tenants to do, (gym area, bingo, cook-outs, ets...).
