I have lived at Berkshire for four years and my experience couldnt be more positive. My apartment is beautiful, well designed and comfortable. I love the beautiful windows and the big walking closet. The public areas are very well taken care of. The cleaning staff does a great job! The building smells clean and so good! People at maintenance sort out whatever inconvenient fast and efficiently. The staff at the office is kind, understanding and have helped me in many occasions and in different ways. The location is the best in town. Berkshire is surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants and beautiful green tracks. However, what I like the most is the consistent philosophy of improvement the management has to offer the residents the best experience. I inquired about this place a few months ago and was told that they had some 2 bdrs available for $775. Now Im paying $710 for a 2 now why would I do that. I asked the lady dont they go by income as far as being a place for low income families. She stated to me that i have to show proof that I can pay rent...ok but thats not what I asked. Im on disability and I was told this place was a good place to apply for. I have 2 kids and it would be a great convenience for us. After explaining to the person I talked to about my income situation I was also told that they couldnt do anything for me. Remind you there are people living out there paying $200 for rent but I was basically turned away and not giving a real reason why. I have no issue paying rent. But trying to apply for a place that say they are low income based rentals then to be told they cant help u Is not very professional as a rental property. Im sure its a great place to live but you have to go threw so much stuff just to even get on the waiting list. But they said they dont have one for the two bdrs but you still cant get into one. more ... hide ...
