How is that you live in Ewing Independent Living for 10 Years and have to pay $900 Dollars for Indoor Out Door Carpet. My grandmother ElizabethStockton live there and passed away on June 1, 2017. She was supposed to move to Las Vegas, NV prior to her deceased, but she wanted to stay in order to receive her $1700 deposit. When she passed away they sent a check for $800 dollars and claimed the remaining deposit was used for new carpet. Mind you my grandmother hired a housekeeper to clean her apartment including the carpet. They never replaced the carpet after 10 years, but did paint her apartment. How is this reasonable? After 10 years they would of have to change the carpet anyway, but not on my grandmothers expense. The Building manager was notified named Rebecca Lynn, but she told us to contact management. Since July we still have not heard anything back from them. Why should the family have to take this matter toCourt, because they want to take Advantage of the Elderly. We just want to warn other families to not trust Ewing Independent Living and Shop around first before considering this place for your love ones. more ... hide ...

Easily the best and most affordable place to rent in all Trenton Area. Its clean and the people that work there are super kind and always available. I strongly recommend it!!!

I stayed at Brookfield Gardens for 3+ years. The apartment community is a no frills complex, and the monthly rent cannot be beat. I had no issues with the basic amenities such as heating, water, parking, wifi etc. Whenev er I reported a problem, it ALWAYS got resolved within 1 business day. There is no laundry on-site but there is big laundromat a few min away by drive. I also received my security deposit back within a month. Overall, I will recommend this place if you are looking for a budget apartment to stay in Ewing, NJ. I will miss staying at Brookfield Gardens. more ... hide ...
