It was told to me that i got behind a months rent which i still dont believe because the first thing i do is get a check for rent before i do anything else. Ive paid an extra 50 a month for 4 months to get caught up and the woman in charge mysteriously doesnt have a record of it and u truly believe that something is going on here because i know Ive never missed a payment but to keep things civil Ive paid an extra 50 a month for 4 month to get cauggt up and shes saying i havent so something is definitely wrong here . I am currently a resident at Charbonier Manor Apartments and have been since February of 2014. This place is a joke. The Maintenance Man, is a good guy, but there is so much work that needs to be done that it takes days, even months to get things fixed. The pool is almost never open.The corporation that runs this place is ruthless and cruel with their fees, and the constantly increasing cost of rent is absurd.This place is \"tax subsidized\" so they can only charge so much rent, so they turn a profit taking people to court and making them pay astronomical legal fees. Then when those fees are paid, it makes it harder to pay the next months rent. So within a matter of days you are acquiring more fees, and potential legal fees. It is a cruel poverty tax, and God will judge the manager and the corporation for oppressing the poor people who live here, many of whom are elderly, and disabled.DO NOT RENT HERE. Even if you have to pay a little more someplace else, you might just be paying for the right to be seen and treated as a human being.Stay Away. more ... hide ...

I have submitted a application on 11/23. I spoke with Ty**** (blocked name due to privacy) in the leasing office. I was told that the only thing that they are waiting on is rental verification. She said that my leasing c ompany emailed her stating that I did not live in the property. I called my leasing company and was told to email the compliance department to receive rental verification. Ty**** said that she would be out until Monday and will get back with me and if rental history cant be provided a double deposit will be needed. I didnt hear from her on Monday so I called, she asked me to send bank statements showing my checks being deposited (I sent them confused of why but I sent them). By now My leasing company (a major leasing company) had submitted rental verification on company letter head and stated that this is the only information that can be given due to privacy. The letter included my time at the property, the amount I paid monthly and that Ive never defaulted on payments. Mind you again, Ive submitted check stubs, bank statements and paid $260 for a non refundable deposit and holding fee. I explained to her if a credit check was ran all of this info show, my employer, rental history etc. She explained that she saw that but these documents are needed.I was told that they cannot accept the rental verification because it is not the original form sent to my leasing company. I emailed my leasing company asking if they can submit the original form from paddock village, my leasing company explain that the information given is all that they can provide. Ty***** in paddocks leasing office ask if I could forward her that email, therefore I sent this email to her. She told me that her manger will come by to view my app and would call after business hours. No one called. I called on Tuesday around 10am and was told that her system was down and that she would call me when its back up. Never called, therefore I called her and she said that her manage was not in and would be in on tomorrow. I asked for the number to corporate and was given a google voice number. This process has been horrible, misleading and totally unprofessional. Never in life have I been through so much run-around. more ... hide ...
