I was homeless! Now I have a home! It is written, \"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you\"....yes things are happening all around us and it may not be what you thought it would be, yet it aint what it was, either. I have had great and not so great experiences while I have been here, but an overall good experience moving into my new home. Thanks to everyone from the rental office (Ms. SONYA JACKSON), to the maintenance workers preparing my apartment for move in! GREAT JOB GUYS! I would just tell you to think long and hard before you move here. I have spoken to several residents and we have the same complaints. To start with the leasing lady is never in the office. I mean like for days up to a w eek at a time. I understand people take time off but what would be most appropriate, is sending out correspondence to residents letting them know you will not be on site and who we can contact in your absence. Or how about having more than 1 LEASING PERSON. Which brings me to the issues of deliveries being stolen FREQUENTLY. If she was in the office or there was a designated/secure place to leave bigger items, packages could be dropped off, instead of just placed where ever and \"disappearing\". Another issue is crime here. There has been a robbery in one of the buildings. Ive only been here for 4 months mind you. A group of men in another building, were seen on camera trying to get into apartments. I know crime can happen anywhere but why must residents hear about this from other residents? Again, I highlight the lack of communication. There should be some correspondence sent out to residents addressing the issue, providing tips on how we can stay safe, and presenting a resolution. None of that is done. This is not the best area to live in and what makes the most sense is having security at later hours for each building. Security that carries weapons preferably. Simple things could be put in place but are not because the owner of this property does not care about us. All of us are not low income folks. Some of us get up everyday and go to work. Many of us do. There are so many problems here. I will just list a few. I dont want to bash a business but if I were aware of these problems, I would have continued my search. After being removed from my former apartment for being a graduate college student, Ms.Richardson really help my husband and I in such a great way. She made sure from beginning to end we felt comfortable and knew what lie d ahead. I am forever grateful for her service honesty and loyalty as a property manger. She gave us a place to call home after society marked me for getting a higher education. I had never heard of anything like that in my life, however Ms. Richardson took the time to explain what had taken place as well as made us feel secure within our new home.. The lots are always clean and quiet. The maintenance men are respectful and fast. We have now been living there for 6 months and are planning to stay until we are ready for a home of our own. I couldnt ask for a better place to live as a young newlywed. more ... hide ...
